#JonasAtUST sure was a great learning experience to everyone that attended.
Some of the students that went to our event "Now Streaming: Jonas de los Reyes" share their key learnings from speaker, Jonas de los Reyes in a Social Media conversation.
Monday 10:50pm
- Kester Reyes, Rjett Bryan Bofill, Allyssa Rocero and 5 others like this.
- Mark Simon E-ngracial Social media provides a way for brands to connect in a way that is different and more organic.
- Reg de Veyra Print media (e.g. newspapers, magazines) will surely find its purpose. Yes, it can go down with the rise of digital media, but it will not completely go away.
- Anton Savellano It's important to appreciate the fact that we are in the age of constant connectivity because it's an opportunity to touch peoples lives AHE AHE
- Enzo de Rivera Social media has a greater role in our society (aside from keeping us connected to other people). We should recognize that we hold a lot of power at our fingertips. Use it wisely.
- Kester Reyes What's posted on the internet remains on the internet forever so we should be careful of what we post. It affects the image of another person or yours.
- Darielle Ann Santos Smarter social media: It's not about the brand its about the customer. If you sell to something they are a customer today. If you help them then they are a customer for life.
- Theresa Eloriaga brands have to find a way to be relevant without having to sell to consumers right on their faces.
- Ronel Bautista " If you don't want your mother to see it, don't post it " ( Not literally :)) For me, it doesn't just apply to facebook, but in SM as a whole. )
- Rocky Arcilla Besides the advantages and disadvantages of social media, I/we also learned how to build effective relationships with our customers and how they should be connected to our brand, thus, creating loyal customers or even brand ambassadors.
